Bradford White Announces RE250T & ERE250T Anode Rod Location Change

Bradford White has implemented a product change based on feedback directly from customers. This change is specific to leaking connections at the plug style anode connection on the RE250T & ERE250T. Bradford White has changed the location of the anode rod from a separate plug style anode to the hot water outlet style, known as an anode outlet device (AOD) on the RE250T & ERE250T units. This change is effective July 1st, 2025 with serial numbers starting with characters BG. The applicable parts lists have been updated online and include both applicable service part numbers for products with both designs. As mentioned earlier this year, segmented anode rods are also now available to order as service parts in addition to traditional solid anode rods.
