Delta 417XX Grab Bar Update

Delta is making an improvement to select 417XX grab bars to enhance installation and overall customer experience.

What’s Changing:

The 417XX grab bars are transitioning to an updated mounting design that simplifies installation and improves alignment. The prior design required a mounting plate and set screws, which could result in alignment challenges during installation. The updated design removes those set screws and allows the grab bar to be mounted directly to the wall through the posts, with improved flange alignment during install.

Why This Change Was Made:

This update addresses installer and customer feedback by:

  • Eliminating set‑screw alignment issues

  • Providing better access and angle for mounting screws

  • Keeping the flange stable during installation

  • Maintaining the same aesthetic once installed
