Fernco Announces Product Updates
Fernco has two important updates to their product line. Please review the following announcements, as they may affect your current and/or future orders.
Beginning May 1st, Fernco is proud to confirm that all 1000 Series and 1000 Series RC Couplings in sizes 15” and under will meet the requirements of both the American Iron and Steel (AIS) requirement and the Build America, Buy America (BABA) Act. Fernco couplings have always been made in the U.S., and this final step completes domestic sourcing down to the smallest component. Compliance documentation and certifications are available upon request.
Fernco will be phasing out the 6000 Series Coupling. Fernco understands that many of you have built this product into your workflow, and they are committed to making this transition as smooth as possible. Fernco encourages customers currently using the 6000 Series to replace part numbers for all future orders with the 1000 Series in regard to 15” and under. For couplings 18” and above that need AIS & BABA compliance, continue to purchase 6000 series until further instruction.
